Good Afternoon Warrior Families!

Here are a few announcements for the upcoming week:

First, I want to congratulate all of our 3rd-8th grade students for their hard work on the End of Grade tests! Score reports will be sent home with students on Tuesday. Our students worked very hard, and we are so proud of them.

As we enter the last week of school, there are many activities happening in each grade level. Please be sure to read classroom newsletters and Class Dojo for important grade-level information.

On Monday, May 18, we will hold a transition meeting for our current 5th grade students who will be moving into middle school for the 2026-2027 school year. The meeting will begin at 5:30 PM in the NDS Auditorium. I encourage all 5th grade parents to attend.

On Tuesday, May 19, we will celebrate our 8th grade students who will be moving on to high school. Dinner will begin at 5:30 PM, with the awards program starting at 6:00 PM. We are very proud of all they have accomplished.

Thursday, May 21, we will celebrate Field Day! Students in grades K-2 will participate from 9:00-11:30 AM on the field, and students in grades 3-5 will participate from 12:00-2:30 PM. Parent volunteers are needed to help with events. If you are willing to help, please contact Coach Brooks at mbrooks@ndschool.org.

Friday morning, May 22, NDS will celebrate our kindergarten students for their graduation. Graduation will begin at 8:30 AM in the school auditorium.

Friday is also the last day of school. We will begin dismissing students at 11:15 AM. Please make sure your child is picked up by 11:45 AM.
