Good afternoon Warrior Families!
Here are a few announcements for the upcoming week.
First, I would like to express a huge thank you to all of the staff at NDS. This week, we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, and I am excited to say thank you to our amazing staff for all they do for our students each and every day.
On Monday, May 4 at 4:00 PM, NDS will host its final NDS Huddle for this school year. Mrs. Austin will be here to share important information with parents about upcoming End-of-Grade testing and how families can help students prepare for success.
On Thursday, May 7, our middle school band, chorus, and drama students will present their end-of-year concert and performances. I encourage you to come out and support our students and see the incredible talent we have at NDS.
Friday, May 8 will be the last day of electives, and all library books are due back to Mrs. Lail.
Looking ahead, End-of-Grade testing will take place the week of May 11-1 5:
Reading Test: Tuesday, May 12 (Grades 3-8)
Math Test: Wednesday, May 13 (Grades 3-8)
Science Test: Thursday, May 14 (Grades 5 and 8 only)
The last day of school will be Friday, May 22. Students will be dismissed at 11:30 AM.
