🚀 Hero Academy Launches June 1!
Get ready, recruits! We are excited to launch the Hero Academy Summer Bridge Program and invite all NDS students to join us for a summer filled with reading, problem-solving, creativity, and hands-on STEM adventures.
Hero Academy is designed to help students keep their academic skills sharp while having fun throughout the summer. Students can participate from home using our online Padlet, and they are also welcome to visit the Hero Hub during scheduled support times for extra help and encouragement.

Ready to begin your mission? Follow these simple steps:
Complete Recruit Training: Watch the Hero Academy Recruit Training Video to learn how the program works and prepare for your first mission.
Download Your Materials: Choose the packet that matches your grade level: K–2 Student Packet, 3–5 Student Packet, 6–8 Student Packet and don’t forget to download and print your Hero Map to track your progress throughout the summer.
Launch Your First Mission: Watch Hero Academy Episode 1: Aero-Glider Mission – Can YOU Restore the Hero Hub? and begin your adventure.
How Hero Academy Works
Each week, students will complete:
📚 A short reading challenge
🔬 A hands-on math or STEM mission
📸 A photo or video upload showcasing their work
⭐ A check or sticker on their Hero Map
Students who successfully complete 6 of the 8 summer missions will earn an invitation to our exclusive VIP Hero Celebration when school resumes!

Students are welcome to attend Hero Hub Help Time on Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., June 2 – July 28
