Jennifer Pecoraro is an experienced educational leader whose career has progressed from paraprofessional and classroom teacher to Behavior Specialist, District Behavior Coach in the eighth-largest school district in the country, serving more than 200,000 students, and Director of Special Education serving five school districts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication, an Autism Spectrum Disorder certificate, and a master’s degree in Special Education with an Educational Leadership internship.
In addition to her work in education, Jennifer has spent 18 years coaching high school and travel softball, an experience that has further shaped her approach to teamwork, accountability, relationships, and developing others. She brings a strong background in instructional leadership, student support, behavior, staff development, communication, and organizational leadership, while her most important role remains being a mom and spending time with her family.
As she begins her role as Executive Director of New Dimensions, Jennifer is excited to honor the strong foundation, traditions, relationships, and successes already established within the school while working alongside staff, students, families, and the community to build upon them. A core principle in both her personal and professional life is pursuing steady, daily progress. In practice, this translates to championing each other's strengths, fostering mutual learning, celebrating wins, and continuously finding ways to evolve together without losing the unique character that makes New Dimensions special.
